Not really. There are multiplayer titles ( Warhawk,Battlefield, Call of Duty ect...) and single player titles (The Last Of Us,Uncharted,Tales of Xillia, Infamouse second son ect.....). Battlefield had no singleplayer unti EA told dice there needed to be some because that was the norm back in 2008. Likewise today Tomb Raider included multiplayer in 2013 because that was the norm.We should let publishers know that its fine to have a fantastic multiplayer with no Story ( Warhawk,Battlefield 2) or a fantastic story with no multiplayer (Ni No Kuni:Wrath of The White Witch,God of War 3) at a full $60.
It's not, though, for some odd reason, some people are trying to. I guess it's because they don't have a lot of story-heavy, singleplayer-driven games to play.
