Most of those PCs were using i7's and 660's or lower for the GPU. For those prices, you can get a 270x and an AMD processor that would be better for actually handling games and still be around the $700 mark.
You dont need more then i5 for gaming.
God those are all horrible, the best gpu they offer is a 660 gtx, i have a list only system build on pcpartpicker that is about $1300(entire rebuild) after taxes and that is without skimping on quality (important) componets.
It's probably ridiculous overkill(for 1080p) if i ever build it, but i would want it to be decent for 3-5 yrs.
Bad budgeting priorities on those pre built systems. Pcpartpicker's February $1200 gaming build is alot more value oriented, can alter to fit your budget.
