Brooklyn Nine-Nine: The Breakout Comedy of the Season
With so many shows now having whitewashed casts, it’s really nice to see a show with a diverse set of characters (not just with people of color, but in terms of male domination as well). Brooklyn Nine-Nine changes things up, and doesn’t really rub it in the audience’s face. Some shows play off of tropes of racial or gender identity, easy and sometimes offensive jokes. But, why is Brooklyn the choice here?
