"I got my grubby little hands on a PlayStation Vita a week before it came out, and goddamn was I excited. Touch my Katamari was one of the exclusive launch titles I was most excited to jump into. I haven’t played an entry in the Katamari series since the original on PlayStation 2 way back in 2004. This game being a launch title for a new system made the time seem ideal to jump back on the Katamari train. But since the Vita has such an abundance of good games to play (contrary to popular belief) I didn’t get around to actually playing Touch My Katamari until very recently."
The PlayStation Vita may be dead, but its library of great games is expansive. Here are the games every Vita gamer must own, in GameSpew's humble opinion.
I was quite surprised Tales of Hearts R wasn't on this list. Pretty great JRPG. Seemingly simple combat at first, but quite complex by the end. Especially if you do end game and Maniac or "Unknown" difficulty. I'm 2 trophies away from Platinuming it. Some of the most fun I've had on my Vita in the 4 years I've had it.
Good games but what a horrible list. So many games should be on this list but aren't.
It may look all happy and cutesy at a glance, but when you actually consider Katamari's gameplay, it's actually rather dark. Very dark, in fact.
It maybe disturbing but it's fun as hell and why the Ps4 doesn't have one yet or a Noby Noby Boy 2 is beyond me.
"In this interview conducted during MAGFest 13 in National Harbor, Maryland, Miyake and Yano discuss their work on the music of Katamari Damacy while also explaining how they got their start in the videogame industry." - Patrick Kulikowski
