While the future will likely provide a host of games that make good use of the Oculus Rift, my mind is stuck in the past as I can’t help but think of a number of classic games that would have been perfect for this new technology. Though they will likely never come to pass, here are five games that would have been incredible to play with the Rift.
Morels: Homestead, a relaxing game in which you can create your own unique homestead, is available now for PC VR.
Electronic Arts has confirmed that while F1 23 will support PC VR it will not support PSVR 2 on PlayStation 5.
That's fine. GT7 would overshadow it anyway at it has open wheel and regular cars.
Should have been spending their time updating Squadrons with better resolution, frame rate, haptics, etc as there isn't a game like that on PS VR 2 yet.
But it's EA. They don't think.
A wasted opportunity, but I don't buy EA / Codemasters stuff anyway. Grid Legends just came out on Plus and I haven't touched it. Why would I when I have GT7 and PSVR2?
Here's a forgotten VR gem for you from 2019. Epic Games' action-packed Robo Recall, which is also available for Quest 2.
Although I never owned an oculus, I played the demo for this at an electronics store. Pretty impressive in an early goings of VR title.
Star Wars Episode 1 Racer with the Oculus Rift will give me this impression.

What that boy felt when running, I will feel the same way racing with that Oculus Rift to the finish line(Yes with that heavenly tune at the end of the song). Heck I imagine that in first person as a football player running to get to the touchdown. Then smile as the crowd cheer for me.
Oculus Rift will be great for Mirror's Edge or Dying Light running from zombies. Yes! while that great song " Run Boy Run," is playing. Damn I love that song lol!
Imagine playing Portal with it
Good call. That would be trippy.
