Sony Unlikely to Launch PlayStation Now in Canada This Summer

This sucks, I was really looking forward to giving this a whirl, but I guess it'll have to wait till probably late 2014/early 2015. (Which I'm fine with cause by then, the WWE Network will also be launching in Canada, meaning my PS4 will be on 24/7 and my wallet will be empty...)

If you listen to the video, he actually states twice that it WILL be rolled out in the US AND Canada. I don't know how John missed that twice.

If you read the article, or even the description at the top of this page, Sony has said that John Koller misspoke when he mentioned Canada.

I hope Sony makes an official statement about this because I was looking forward to it and "no plans to bring it to Canada" sounds pretty grim.

Not surprised. We Canucks always get things after our neighbours to the south if we get anything at all. Just look at The huge discrepancy between US and Canadian Netflix. Good things come to those who wait. We may not get it soon but at least we know that we'll get it eventually.

We should all give Adam Boyes a phone call and ask him: "Dude, Where's our PS Now Service?" :D
