From the review - Ballpoint Universe is worth every penny you pay for it, especially if you are into (definitively not classic) art and design. It is a visually astonishing game with really intuitive controls and enjoyable gameplay. There’s not a single reason I can think of why not to play Ballpoint Universe and revive some classic arcade gaming while discovering what pen and paper are able to produce when given to a talented guy.
Davis from Denkiphile: "When it comes to indie games, they generally deliver subpar 3D CG visuals, due to budget constraints that make it hard to compete with larger companies, or opt for 2D graphics instead, which has plateaued enough that even small development teams can use the medium well enough to be on par with large commercial releases. With Ballpoint Universe Infinite, Arachnid Games opted for neither of these and gives us high stylized visuals with everything drawn entirely in ballpoint pen. Don’t let that discourage you, though; there is a top-tier gaming experience awaiting shmup fans here."
GG3 picks up on more game bundles going around, with seconds to spare, due to some third party issues. Still, this would be the time to hop onto the Indiegala January, which has 10 games, such as Deadly Premonition, Viscera Cleanup Detail and more. Ballpoint Universe will fill in the details. Also, make sure to watch the video inside for full bundle giveaways.
There are a total of eight games in The Indie Gala January that are then split into two tiers. For a minimum of a dollar, you can pick up three games; one is Two Brothers, which is worth way more than a dollar.
