Creative Assembly is developing Alien: Isolation and they us in a room with a big bad xeno with no guns, maybe a wrench, and a whole lot of panic. It's not enough to just 'pile-drive' us into the ground in fear though.
The team recognise for that true survival horror experience we need to catch a break now and then, and they soon saw testers give a "sigh of relief when they got to the airlock."
Alien Isolation Grand Mother VR is an all new virtual reality experience for Creative Assembly’s best ever horror game.
I played through most of the PS4 version of the game but stopped because another game came out. I bought it last year for PC with the intention of using the VR mod but haven't gotten around to setting it up. I am glad I waited.
Great game, even better in VR. A little drawn out by the end, but I hope we see CA do something a little different with the sequel.
Sweet. I also rebought this game on Steam for the purpose of VR. I'll have to give it another shot w full immersive controls. I had only tried it out briefly before.
It's funny this was never officially released at retail as a VR game, bc it feels so perfect for it!
The Alien franchise has had a long history in video games, but few games have come quite as close to being perfect as Alien: Isolation.
This sounds great as after 10 years; the soundtrack is coming in multiple formats.
A single Alien?
It's either going to have the possibility of be very short or boring, I'm not so sure I want to spend an entire game running from one Alien.
It also worries me when a Dev keeps reiterating that they are making a game for the fans, the game fans always wanted to play, like they are trying not only to convince me but also convince themselves, feels like A:CM all over again.
I guess well just have to wait and see.
hoar hoar it looks like its that time of year again people where the words "Alien" and "game" are mentioned. Best wait till the game is actually out before committing to buy ay? We all know what happened last year. (I certainly did)
