"You can hear its footsteps. That's the first thing that strikes you about the Alien in Alien: Isolation, Sega's most adventurous game about icky deep space munsters since Rebellion's 1999 classic, Alien vs Predator. Years of frenzied action movie adaptations - some shoddy, some not-so-shoddy, some disastrous - have trained us to think of the Alien as a sort of rabid, brittle cockroach, darting along walls and ceilings till you shatter it with a shotgun blast. This one's got a bit more gravitas, so to speak. It must weigh roundabouts a ton."
The upcoming film Alien: Romulus will include a special Easter egg that fans of the 2014 game Alien: Isolation will recognize.
I hope it’s a great Alien movie and not a mediocre one. I thought they would do a movie after Prometheus next so I’m a bit disappointed as I wanted new information but it seems to be in between previous movies. Don’t f it up please.
If you've got an Alien itch you can't quite scratch until Alien: Rolumus releases, GameSpew has rounded up the best Alien games to tide you over.
Fans (myself included) are clamouring for a direct sequel to this fantastic game and hope for an Alien: Isolation 2. But will this great game ever get another instalment?
It was the duck all along!
Just watched the PS4 gameplay vid and now this one. They both look very good graphically but both lack AA, not worried about it since it is still early. CREEPY as hell looking though!
If I may say, we have Frictional to thank for this sort of games. I guess the sales of Penumbra and Amnesia showed that players want proper, first person horror game once in a while.
Woah this looked really good. Cant help but imagine how good halo5 will be. The corridors at the begining of the vid sort of reminded me of halo5 too.
Wow this is the Alien game CA is making? You have my interest now. However CA usually have terrible launches, so I'm going to be cautious.
