Mark Reece writes: "The PlayStation Vita might not be setting sales records or garnering a wealth of attention for itself, but there’s one thing that nobody can deny: in terms of games, the Vita had a blinding year in 2013. We had big budget exclusives in the form of Soul Sacrifice, Tearaway and Killzone: Mercenary; multi-platform releases such as Rayman Legends, Dragon’s Crown, Sly Cooper: Thieves in Time and WRC 4, all of which were comparable in quality to their home console counterparts; plus we had more top drawer downloadable indie titles than you can shake a stick at. Yep, whether you picked up a Vita last year or have had one since launch, there was plenty to keep you busy in 2013. But what about 2014? Well, I’m glad you asked! Let’s take a gander at some of the biggest or most interesting games due to hit the Vita over the next twelve months."
While gamers usually take notice of the mainline missions, these 5 side quests deserve more widespread attention for how entertaining they are.

Given the medium's wild diversity, this primer of the essential video games everyone should try is a good place to start.
I can't fk with this list. They missed on alot of games probably before the writers times. Also I know people loved some portal but I was never a fan.
Tomb Raider 1
Driver 1
Abe’s Odyssey
FF6
King of Fighters 94
Mortal Kombat OG
LINK 2 the past
Street Fighter 2
Resident Evil 1
Infinite but not the first two games? Witcher 3 but not the first two games?? GTA V but not literally any of the games before it??? Portal 2 but not the first? Also if you're going to play Shadow of The Colossus play the remaster and not the remake. Can't say I disagree with the list but my man it's all over the place.
Awesome list! Hot take on Fear (and it's hard af expansion Persaus Mandate!) Bioshock Infinite is stellar, so is the Witcher 3 and you nailed it by having Ocarina of Time. So many fantastic games! Gotta play 'em all! Next one on my list is Prey after I beat Dead Space 2 and Splinter Cell Conviction.
Not very much to be honest. Already own Borderlands 2 so why by a port on an inferior system? Same thing to the God of War and The Walking Dead. Minecraft, Final Fantasy X and .... wait that's it; those are about the only things that are interesting to me. I'd like to play a Murasaki Baby demo only because the showing at Gamescom annoyed me with all of the sounds and wimpering.
OT: Sony what the f*ck are you doing? The writing is becoming bolder and bolder that all the Vita is now is a companion device: a $200 accessory to the PS4. Why should we accept that as Vita owners? Show us something at E3!!!
Good list, I'd add Demon Gaze too but most of the cool games are there :)
Awesome list!
