Jack Thompson Interviewed on NPR, Gets Booted by Host

The host of Talk of the Nation on National Public Radio gave anti-game activist Jack Thompson a rather swift interview on the subject of GTA IV. Needless to say, it probably didn't go as Thompson had planned.

Their was alot Glenn Beck wanted to talk about but he kinda randomly decided to say they were out of time even cutting short the other guest when Thompson was on one of his rants, it was kind of sad.

I can't believe he replied to the question, "Have you played the game yet?", with the statement, "It just came out, and I have a life".

People that play video games have lives, and playing video games is literally no different than turning on the T.V. and watching T.V. for hours because it's all entertainment.

These people that are against video games can run their mouths all they want, but at the end of the day, video games make Millions of Dollars and it's a Billion Dollar industry. If the U.S. Government isn't trying to ban the Porn Industry, then they better leave video games alone for Christs Sake.

I had my house vandalized, by the way, today by gamers. I get calls, death threats all the time by gamers, then they tell me games have no effect on their attitude or behaviour which is interesting.

If you have a good opening statement a lot of the times you can win the argument.
