Man when you compare this to all that Free stuff you get with PS+, it's easy to make the right choice.

Dread1991d ago

what free stuff?

I thought you could not keep it if you stop being a member.

The stuff that is annouced in this article is your after you buy it reagrdless of membership.

How about Borderlands 2 for free. A game that was released a year ago and not 5 years ago (looking at Gears of War).

And how exactly, did you get Borderlands 2 for 'free'?

I rest my case.

wolfsaviorzx1991d ago

Exactly it's not free. It's renting. It's good if you just want to play the game, but it's not the same of owning or at least owning the license of the game. DRM Free on the PC is the best value.

It's not free - your paying a monthly fee to get it.

Simco8761991d ago

technically you guys are's not "FREE". But "Access" to games without an extra fee on PS+ crushes XBOX Live. Disagree I dare you!

Dread1991d ago

At least the free games with gold are actually free. I still prefer xbox live regardless.

jjonez181991d ago (Edited 1991d ago )

Sorry to be the one to break it to you but the games with gold aren't free either. You had to pay for gold to have initial access to the game. Just like purchasing a retail copy except its digital(no trades/sell -yet-). Even then you have to pay for the cost of the system in order to access Xbl.

Something we all should learn in economics is that nothing is free.

5 year old games are a kick in the teeth. PS+ may be a subscription but you get great deals and discounts not found on Live which is only a fee in place as a paywall to do anything.
