The first Game of the Year winner is here! Check out GameSpot's pick for 2013's best PlayStation Vita title.
If you ever hear someone claim that video games have become too violent and cynical, all you need to do is point them in the direction of Tearaway. Media Molecule's latest effort is a delightful adventure brimming with warmth and imagination, making clever use of the Vita's touch inputs as it guides you on an adventure through a vibrant papercraft world.
TSA writes: "If there's one thing we know and love Media Molecule for, it's pushing creativity and experimentation within its game design."
A job listing published by the UK studio reveals that its next project will be another entirely new IP.
Good. Something not boring, not one of those "make your own game" crap and also on Steam would be nice.
IGN writes: "Media Molecule has said the layoffs at the Sony-owned studio have affected plans for ongoing community and curation support in Dreams."
How self sustained can DREAM be when it's basically stuck on PS4? I don't think it's even gotten a PS5 upgrade. Ending support for what is essentially a game making engine is basically death. SONY did DREAMS dirty.
One of the best games of 2013 of any console
considering the nominations Tearaway wins hands down. The only competition is Rayman and thats a port.
I like how Tearaway wasn't the highest reviewed game (in fact, it was average among the nominated titles) and still won. I also like how Killzone Mercenary didn't even make the cut. Different opinions and personal preference aside, it really should have been listed before Stealth Inc. or Divekick.
I did not like the ending and some aspects of the last stages.
But still the game is awesome.
Killzone Mercenary os my favorite Vita game of the year.
Good job Media Molecule and Sony!!!
