GotGame: The minigames are simple and straightforward. From make-up parties to toned-down variations of Dance Dance Revolution, Barbie and her pals Teresa, Nikki, and that jerk Raquelle play minigames set up by the Closet to open up her Dreamhouse that got put on lockdown. This will allow players to move to other rooms and pick up accessories for Barbie, because how could there be a Barbie game without playing dress-up?
If you have a daughter that enjoys dressing up her Barbies, cleaning animals, stacking cupcakes and putting on make-up, then look no further than Barbie Dreamhouse Party.
"I think Barbie Dreamhouse Party might be the most sarcastic, darkly satirical game I’ve ever played. And I’m not even sure if I’m joking at this point. When a game with a name like that pops up on Steam, of course any red-blooded human games journalist is going to take a look, right? I was expecting a garish pink mess of dress-up minigames and saccharine terror, obviously, but Dreamhouse Party seems to take this into a whole other realm of creepy weirdness. This is a game in which a sentient closet-based AI locks four girls in a room (with giant metal barriers) because one of them smudged her make-up, and forces them to repeatedly apply lipstick and eyeliner to freakishly giant doll heads until he is satisfied. That’s not my arch interpretation of events. That’s what actually happens."
Why dear lord? There are other people apart from nerds who play games. My grand daughter will love this.
Graphically, this looks better than some 360 and PS3 games.

World peace has been achieved, the hungry have been fed, the homeless have homes, the diseased have been cured, the blind can see, the hairless have hair, the dirty have been washed, the aforementioned washed have been dried, the old have become young, Barney is no longer on the sex offender list, death has been banned, Tom and Jerry have become friends, WWE has become real, it stopped raining in Ireland, trolls stopped trolling, haters stopped hating, I'm still the best Power Ranger, Native Americans got their land back, parents no longer cover their children's school books with wallpaper, and everyone on Earth has won the lottery! All thanks to Barbie Dreamhouse Party! Hallelujah!

About time we got more Barbie and the magnificent games she features in; Little Orbit always delivers brilliant games one after another and this masterpiece of a series makes TLOU look like E.T for the Atari.
Seriously, the story in the previous Barbie game was so emotional that I cried like a baby, and the characters so in-depth and life-like that I really started to gain a bond with the characters.
This is the definitive GOTY, no doubt.
