I had some seriuos FPS issues, i then started the game with the StarboundopenGL.exe located in game dir. and it fixed it.

I am playing on a laptop btw.

Awesome game so far, but needs a lot of balancing.

The OpenGL version didn't fix it for me unfortunately. Tried that one way before I made this guide :).

I need to try this, I cant wait to get home and try I hope it works. I have a high end gaming laptop and its FPS is shocking. ill try the NVidia one as that's what I have

first option didn't work for me I had no files to delete nothing came up, second way work for a bit but then it got worse. I ended up going into the game folder and deleting the starbound.exe and renaming the starbound-gl.exe to just starbound and it works ok so far

Rather than going for a straight clone of Minecraft, Terraria moved to a 2D adventure game, that had a wealth of combat, and bosses as well as a more meaningful progression than Minecraft. Overall, Terraria was an impressive game.
