Gaming Union: "When Kingdom Hearts was announced back at E3 2001, there were mixed opinions about the news that it would merge the worlds of Final Fantasy and Disney. We didn't realize at that moment that Kingdom Hearts would then spawn a franchise delivering amazing experiences that would capture the hearts of millions.
Despite Disney’s colorful and cheerful influence over the Kingdom Hearts series, it hasn’t stopped the franchise from featuring a story with its own share of sad moments. We now present you what we feel are the 10 saddest moment in the Kingdom Hearts franchise so far."
One of the strongest genres that the PSP had to offer would have to be RPGs. The PS1 and PS2 both had strong RPG libraries, so it’s not a huge surprise that the PSP picked up the baton with some real bangers.
Kingdom Hearts 2 is a massive sequel that improves upon nearly everything from its predecessor, but the risky prologue is what left the biggest lasting mark.
I like this series but I wish they would tone down all the different releases. Atleast release them consistently on the same gaming machine so it can be followed. I read last week they got a kh for my damn washing machine it's super annoying. Kidding about the washing machine.
KH2 was peak KH, it's all downhill from there, if the succeeding games had been as interesting and fun as KH2 I'd still be into the series.
I wish I could get into this series. It just makes me cringe so hard with all the whole ”anything can be done with the power of friendship!” Plus the stages themselves I always felt were lackluster.
I think the more serious parts of the story are cool, but man… I tried so hard and I just couldn’t.
Yeah it definitely left a lasting mark on me.. everytime i think about KH2 and remember the prologue i almost immediately fall asleep on the spot.
i really like the series, but it dwindled woth the release of kh2.
the "friendship is my power" was so cringe. even as a child.
after that, the story ... well lol. just a mess.
20 years of magic, 10 amazing worlds to explore.
Traverse, and Twilight I can agree with but I disagree with all of the KH3 worlds especially Pirates, Pirates was the most disappointing world. Hallow Bastion gave off so much mystery, and Castle Oblivion did so too. Enchanted Dominion from BBS, and it's twisted version in the realm of darkness are probably two of the more visually appealing worlds in the series, without NPCs it unintentionally became very eerie. Keyblade Graveyard is haunting from the moment you set eyes on all the dead blades. Atlantica and Halloween Town from the first game I consider better than how they are in the 2nd.
I already know what number one is before checking this article... I'll see if I'm right...
EDIT: Yep, knew it lol!
