im skeptical of the validity of this although everything sounds cool and lines up with previous rumors. I'm very interested in the dual protagonist approach and how that affects the classic persona style day-to-day gameplay. However there is another previous rumor that suggested they would be doing away with the traditional calendar system.

I'm ready for whatever they got cooking.never disappointed currently playing vengeance.

Hotpot252d ago

this will be the first modern persona not made by the usual trio director, composer, art director because they're busy making metaphor, excited to see if their successors can handle the IP.

Let us hope Shoji returns.

Honestly, most of the soundtrack in P3R doesn't quite hit as hard without him, really missed that guy.

DarXyde252d ago

I have high hopes.

P-Studio doesn't make duds. They'd rather take a long time and pop out when they've got something phenomenal than be prolific and release mid games.

Not worried at all.

that's cool ... that means I have to wait till 2030 to get the full super deluxe master remastered edition

Kinda want something fun and lighthearted like P4 again. P3 and 5 hit you with the serious, depressing, and dark stuff which is great but it's nice to change it up.

gold_drake183d ago

No.

im tired of the quirkiness in games these days.
give me a good story.

and also, the hell u on about, P4 showed us fking cropses hanging from somewhere ha

DarXyde183d ago

Wot

Persona 4 was light-hearted at school. Beyond that? It was pretty damn dark. Not going to say anything in the off chance that someone out there who wants to play it and hasn't yet, but... Yeah. It gets pretty dark.

FinalFantasyFanatic183d ago (Edited 183d ago )

Just give me a good story, and more or less the same game play, I don't care if it's light-hearted and fun, or dark and serious, as long as it's a good game.

gold_drake183d ago

god i hipe its not an action game like metaphor is ha.

CrimsonWing69183d ago

Metaphor was turn-based, though.

gold_drake183d ago

not in the overworld.

but ur right

CrimsonWing69183d ago

I mean you could kill enemies at a lower level than you by slashing them, but that’s not really much different than whacking enemies outside of battle in the Persona games. If anything it’s a quality-of-life improvement so you don’t have to waste time doing battles you’re over-leveled for.

Prayingathiest183d ago

Metaphor imo was better than persona 5 that game was just to long

Kosander182d ago

Atlus makes the best JRPGs ;) Super hyped of what comes after Metaphor

jznrpg180d ago

That would mean the game is near release. I hope that’s the case
