In the world of free-to-play games, developers often try to push in-app purchases by limiting play time. For example, you’ll only be able to drive eight races before your car needs repairs, and you have to either wait for them to finish, or pay real money to fix your car instantly. However, finding the right balance is proving difficult, as proved by Epic Empire: A Hero’s Quest. While the game offers enjoyable gameplay for the most part, it completely misses the mark with its energy system.
