PSN GTAIV Ban Claim Debunked

A user of a popular website for competitive console gaming, who received his PS3 copy of GTAIV prior to the official April 29th release date, claimed earlier to have received a weeklong ban from the PSN service for playing the game while signed in on Sony’s online platform.

The news was reported by several high-profile gaming websites, such as PlayTM.

However, it has emerged that it was in fact a hoax and the user is now suspended from the website’s forum (www.consolegaming.eu/forum) following a spate of incendiary remarks.
