Edge:Zelda’s legend is destined to repeat, bringing to mind Elizabeth’s deterministic revelation in Bioshock Infinite. There’s always a boy, a girl and a pig demon. There are always three magic triangles. There’s always chicken abuse. A Link Between Worlds brings Nintendo’s cyclical ideas to their natural destination, revisiting the Hyrule purged of evil in A Link To The Past. Enough time has passed for the events of that game to enter legend – retold in a fetching castle mural – but the land is as we left it in 1992.
The Nintendo 3DS' The Legend of Zelda: A Link Between Worlds is now 10 years old, yet remains a remarkable experience.
Calling this classic feels so weird to me. It's still the newest game in the old style... hope they make another one.
it was an awesome game and utilized the 3D very well on the 3DS. A Link to the Past is one of my favorite Zelda games, so this one being a true sequel to that title really hit home with me.
Even if the eShop has now closed down, the best 3DS games are still worth playing — in any way you can get your hands on them.
Zelda games are all incredible, but the series shines particularly bright on handhelds.
Lots of 8s 9s and 10s across the board mostly 10 and 9 Nintendo does it again.
two marks off is extremely harsh when nintendo have attemped to listen to the 'hardcore' about hand-holding and changing up the dungeon formula, while acknowleding that kids like my 7yr old son need to have a chance of completing the game. The review read like a 9 to me, but its all just opinion. Well done, Big N!
Shaping up to be a top 5 Zelda title of all time
