Microsoft Invented the Pebble smartwatch

Unusually enough, Microsoft was actually a decade ahead of the smartwatch trends. Microsoft's SPOT smartwatch, discontinued in 2008, bears a striking resemblance in design and featureset to the crowdfunded Pebble smartwatch.

Control is through three buttons on the side, and the touch black and white display, just as on the Pebble.
