CCC Says: "Two of video game's greatest mascots are continuing their biannual tradition of sporting the moniker of world-class athlete for Mario & Sonic at the Sochi 2014 Olympic Winter Games. Though SEGA and Nintendo have already played host to the Winter Games four years ago, things are a little bit different this time, as it marks the first time our rival flag bearers have competed on Nintendo's new console, the Wii U. The GamePad controller also brings with it new control schemes for some events as well as other off-TV channels, and the series finally goes online for a global competition. However, not everything is shiny and new, as some of the mundane events from the original Winter Games have received little in the way of upgraded gameplay, and there's plenty of noticeable recycling, which is disheartening considering the we're now playing on a "next-gen" system."
Phil writes, "SuperPhillip Central's Favorite VGMs is usually an every-Monday occurrence where I share five of my favorite songs from various video games, whether they be retro or modern. I often feature songs from games that don't get as much attention from gamers as they should, but I don't make it a habit to make note of that.
Well, with Underrated Games With Even More Underrated Soundtracks, I definitely do. This third part features games that many slept on that have glorious music to them. As usual, I shall share six games and provide five sample songs for each soundtrack. Perhaps hearing some of the music from these games will encourage you to try them out!"
I am glad to see Transformers Devastation on the list. The music was so orgasmic when I played making every battle feel like a final showdown.
New deals for Sunday include Valkyria Chronicles for $9.99, WWE 2K15 for $39.99, Mario & Sonic at the Sochi 2014 Olympic Winter Games for $22.99 and more.
