Assassin’s Creed: Black Flag Review (PopBucket)

Assassin’s Creed III was fresh. No one can deny that. The game gave you levels of freedom & exploration unparalleled in previous Assassin’s Creed games, not to mention its most crucial tease – a taster for naval warfare.

Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag gives you all that on a platter of silver & leaves you to gorge yourself silly on a feast of pure fun. As the last Assassin’s Creed installment of this generation, it could have gotten away with playing it safe and doing more of the same. Thankfully that’s not the case and what we are treated to in Black Flag is a sweet harmony of both style and substance. This tale of a pirate captain is one that the world will come to love and one that we’ll not soon forget. Get plundering!
