Controller taste are always a preference for the gamer, but one thing I'm interesting in seeing is the Xbox 1 rumble features vs DS touch pad which of those are future proof!! IMO I lean more towards the rumble features not a big fan of DS touch pad.. My opinion only.

But.... I gotta hold the Ps4 controller before I pass judgment this time. Seems Sony made it much more comfortable, and then there's the touch pad, light sensor and share button.

More and more I'm leaning towards Sony for next gen.

My biggest qualm with the Playstation controllers is the abstract symbols they use to just be "different."

Except for Sony's, there is not a single controller out there that doesn't use the alphabet.

Yeah both Microsoft and Nintendo use the alphabet but are you aware that they are not in the same placements?

X is where Y is A is where B is and vice versa.

Playing exclusively on Nintendo and Xbox systems could still confuse people... it definitely would confuse the hell out of me. Those symbols on the other hand? Embedded in my brain.

Having held the DS4 Im going to tell you it feels awesome!!!! This thing feels like you could play for days on end! Last gen I played on the 360 most of the time but the DS4 is definately better than the 360's which is impressive. But that being said I havent held the Xbox One controller which looks good too. This gen there will definately be competition for top controller.

I'm on the same boat as you here but, I've tried the PS4 controller and it feels like the ergnomics of the design has improved significantly. In fact, both next-gen controllers feel better in the hands.

rest assured i have used the ds4 and its just leagues better than the ds3 and i mean miiiiiiiiiiiiiiles, it just feels like its part of your hand and the sticks are sooooo much better than before , then you have the shoulder buttons which also have been changed, the controller is just so much better than before.

I have no idea why people say pressing dual shock 3's home button by accident was a common thing.

ive been playing on a dualshock 3 on and off since 2007. have taken plenty of time away from it to use my 360 controller too. NOT ONCE have i accidentally pressed the home button while playing.

Yea I've never come across accidentally hitting the home button, the r2 and l2 triggers however... don't get me started. Lol

I've got a DualShock 4 and I'm not a huge fan of the ridges around the thumb stick tops. It doesn't feel as comfortable as the round top.

Sega mega drive/genesis had a Pretty awesome controller, loved the turbo edition. No triggers, no analogue sticks, all style :-)

The first thing I noticed when I got one today was the sticks are a little bit smaller. Can't wait to start playing!
