Most anticipated games for the Xbox 360 not named GTA or GoW

All you've been hearing about is GTA IV or Gears of War 2. One writer from Sarcastic Gamer has some other games on his mind...

You seem to like those sarcasticgamer articles,but i was just expressing my opinion.I thought that only 3 games was too little.And based on their track record,i can't see what's wrong with my statement.

And i apologize to those who may have been offended.

But what i actually meant,was that this particular article,was kind of on the short side.Not that the 360 lacked quality titles.Even without Gears and GTA i can list many more games that seem very cool o the 360.
I just thought that this list did not do justice to the forthcoming quality software.Both consoles have great things coming this year.I found it a little bit silly to name only 3,what more,2 of those being multiplatform.

The article does appear to be written lazily. They took their description of Prototype from IGN and their description of Left 4 Dead from Quakecon. What they actually came up with was the description from Fallout 3 and the three bottom lines. Basically all they said in those ever so short snippets were "Oh my god these games are going to be awesome!" Then take into account that its an incredibly short article with just three games. Yeah, it was very lazy. It probably took them about 10 minutes.

Gears 2 is the only game I will pick up for 360 this year.

Left for Dead - looks alright, but its a PC port. Not to mention Resident Evil 5 anyone?

Fable 2 - could go either way. Anyone who played the first one can tell you it was too easy. I beat the first one in 10hrs.

Too Human - This game was stuck in developement hell for ages. There are no loading screens in this game - should we be worried?

Banjo Kazooie - Rare still hasn't redeemed themselves in my eyes. Never played the first one, but heard it was great. If you need that Wii mote knockoff to play it I'm stayin away.

Ninja Gaiden - Games like this and DMC are too repetitive to me, I just play them for the boss fights.

For my PS3 I will get Resistance 2, Socom, Killzone 2, White Knight Story, Tekken 6, Motorstorm 2 and MGS4. If a game is multi platform then I get it for PS3 as well - I like to install games to my HDD and I dont want to risk gettin RROD - I need my 360 for gears and thats about it.

Half of 11 is 5.5, even if you round it down, that's still two more than three.

Although TECHNICALLY, you only need one more game, seeing how Prototype and Fallout will also be on the PS3.

The Sony consoles have always been my hot spot for RPGs. What the heck is taking so long. Most of the JRPGs are STILL coming out for the PS2. I mean, Persona 4, WTF. They couldn't put that on PS3??? They're killing me....

Left for dead, Fallout 3, & Prototype are both games I will be picking up along with GTA IV and Gears of War II.

They over looked Ninja Gaiden2 also. 3 must own exclusives and 3 must own 3rd party titles. 1080p anyone!?

Update: TOO HUMAN is another 1st party original game that is sure to be a hit. I have been waiting for that game since the 90's.

um, how is this the case when 2 of your 3 most awaited 360 games just so happens to be PS3 games too? i really hate articles like this, where they list their top most awaited games for a system and 75% of them are multiplatform games. you want 3 of the most anticipated non-GOW2, non-GTAIV 360 games coming out this year? how about Fable 2, Alan Wake and Left for Dead. you say it'll be hard finding 3 games worth anticipating for PS3 this year that aren't MGS4 or GTAIV? well, Resistance 2, LBP and Socom Confrontations say otherwise. and that says nothing of FFXIII, Killzone 2, White Knight Chronicles, Infamous etc.

This is a article about the 360's top 1st party exclusives and third party games. The games listed are just as great, but you mite over look them if your caught up in the hype over GTA4 and GOW2.

1st of all the article did not compare the XBOX360 games to the PS3's games. The fanatics do that because they have lost control of their brains.

yeah. its just with me, when i judge the merits of a system i usually do it based on exclusive games, not multiplatform games. i wasn't trying to compare 360 exclusives to PS3's or anything. i'm just saying they should stick to listing exclusives in lists like this. the average gamer would look at that list and assume that the 360 doesn't have any good exclusives coming this year other than GOW2 and Left for Dead, and thats just not the case. there was no mention of NG2 or Fable 2, and it could be argued that those games are more awaited than either LfD or Prototype. but what can i say? maybe sarcasticgamer isn't interested in Alan Wake, NG2 or Fable 2. guess he's entitled to his own opinion, even if i think it's a flawed opinion.
