I know that Origins may not represent an evolution for the Arkham series but I don't see that as a bad thing. Both games thus far are two of my favorites ever. I was more concerned personally that WB Montreal would depart from the aspects that made the series great. Instead, they focused on story and characters while maintaining a formula that has proven to be compelling. Works for me.

I'd have been able to set my own expectations if WB had sent review copies in a timely matter

The Unjustly Forgotten Batman: Arkham Origins Deserves A Resurgence

Despite certain flaws, Batman: Arkham Origins is a splendid entry in the legendary Arkham series and deserves better than being forsaken.

It's the worst of the three in my opinion, but still really enjoyable. Definitely underated and gets far more crap that it deserves.

Should be included with the other Arkham games in the bundle.

I'm honestly enjoying it alot, my first time playing since I just decided to get a Xbox 360 slim for 65$, I cop some other gems too tho, I went into Arkham origins not expecting better than Arkham city but it does deliver plus the guy who voices batman did a good job aiming for the young Bruce impression

I'm sure R* knows the Nintendo Switch install base and probably dont really care to port over more R* games to the Nintendo Switch tho i gotta say playing GTA4 & RDR1 on the go on the Nintendo Switch would be dope

Knightofelemia446d ago

I would buy Lollipop Chainsaw, Alice Madness Returns, Enslaved, Splatter House, Brutal Legends, Dante's Inferno, and Dead Space for sure if they were ported to the Switch.

Mobis-New-Nest445d ago

Deus Ex Human Revolution would be a great title to The Holy Grail of All Consoles aka The Nintendo Switch*. Also Haze Remastered, Grand Theft Auto 4 and 5 Remastered, Silent Hill HD Collection, Max Payne 3 Remastered, Call of Duty World At War Remastered, The Orange Box Remastered, Halo Master Chief Collection, Left 4 Dead 1 and 2 Remastered, Metal Gear Solid 4 Remastered, Afro Samurai Remastered, Demons Souls Remastered, Xmen Destiny Remastered, Jack and Daxter Collection, Def Jam Icon Remake, Folklore Remastered, Spiderman Edge of Time Remastered, Persona 5 remastered, the list goes on. (*Best Selling Console of All Time)

Can we just get a Bully 2? 😒

iplay1up2445d ago

Seriously? Isn't it time Nintendo make a Switch successor? I mean they have the sales and money.

Batman Arkham Origins: The Underrated Prequel

Perhaps as a result of the novelty wearing off, Batman: Arkham Origins is seen as the worst game of the series, but when seen through fresh eyes in 2022, the red-headed stepchild of the Arkham series from WB Montréal lives up to and even surpasses the Rocksteady trilogy in several ways.

I did not like this game, but the "actual" trilogy is amazing

mkis007451d ago

It belongs in the series. Story is the best.

MichaelKnight83451d ago

Put it this way i wouldn't mine a Batman Arkham Origins 2 if it ever happens

Knightofelemia451d ago (Edited 451d ago )

This game was ok I enjoyed Deathstroke he is one of my favorite villains in DC but compare to the other Arkham games it just wasn't my favorite.
