Twinfinite writes: "Each one of us has felt the loss that comes with a loved game series dying out on us. A lack of sales, favorable reviews, or even just interest can all play a roll in getting a series put out to pasture, rarely, if ever, heard from again. While some series are better off going back to the abyss which spawned them, most deserve at least one more chance in the sun. I rounded up the staff and asked them what game they would resuscitate if they had unlimited resources. Think of this as a tiny peek into our collective insanity."
Whether due to publisher deals gone sour, licenses expiring, feuds between developer and publisher and other reasons entirely, there’s a wide range of games that you just can’t buy digitally anymore.
No One Lives Forever 1+2 is on Internet Archive for free.

Torrents are there. I actually have the original CD's from NOLF 2, never going to part with them.😁
I still have my PS3 copy of Spec Ops, Battlefield Bad Company 1&2 & Marvel Ultimate Alliance 1/2.
Planning to replay those and a few others, but the controls feel so loose now compared to modern games.
Change the title to: Amazing Games That Have Been Abandoned by Stupid Publishers Who Don't Care About their Legacy, so You Should Pirate and Enjoy them.
Okay, maybe that title was a bit too long. 😅
I missed out on the chance to buy BFBC1 on Xbox and I just want to kick myself silly. One of the best PS3 experience of my life. The feeling, impact, sound design of this game was leagues better than BF games that followed
There are plenty of games that were released on the PS1 that deserved some kind of sequel or follow-up, yet never received another game.
The List there is not bad..but my top ten PS1 sequels would be:
Battle Arena Toshinden 5
New Parodius
New Bust A Groove
New Kensai: Sacred Fist
Bushido Blade 3
Xenogears 2
Biofreaks 2
Jumping Flash 4
Cardinal Syn 2
Tobal No. 3
There was actually at attempt at a new Hogs of War kickstarter last year, but it did really poorly and failed to make it's goal.
Actually there were a bunch of monopoly like board games on PS1 that i really enjoyed, like momotaro dentsetsu, dragon money etc.
wish someone would make more of these games
Huzaifa from eXputer: "2008 was home to the likes of Call of Duty: World at War, Dead Space, GTA 4, Far Cry 2, Left 4 Dead, and many other hits, which is outright remarkable."
Just about every year in the 7th generation was great and something we most likely won't experience again.
2009 for example had Assassin's Creed 2, Batman: Arkham Asylum, Dragon Age: Origins, Uncharted 2, Halo 3: ODST, Killzone 2, Borderlands, Bayonetta, and Demon's Souls to name a few.
Why is Left for Dead on this list. I'd hardly call it dormant considering it is Valve.
I would bring back Shadow Hearts. Or maybe Okami. OH, how about the Mana games. Final Fight or Streets of Rage. No, screw it, ACTRAISER. And not the bs sequel either but a continuation of the first games concept.
