Tristan of RealGamerNewz writes, "Final Verdict: Freefall Racers is a title that is enjoyable mainly for younger audiences. It could be something that the family plays as well, mainly the casual gamer. But if you’re a hardcore, or just experienced gamer you will not like this title at all, unless you’re an obsessed motion gamer. Freefall Racers get’s a 3.5 out of 10 for having way too many glitches and issues even a considerable time after release."
Seemingly coming from nowhere as an Xbox 360 Kinect exclusive release, Freefall Racers will soon be with gamers across the world via the Xbox Games Store. After handling the likes of Metro: Last Light, Dead Island: Riptide and Saints Row IV it may seem like a considerable change of pace for Deep Silver to be publishing a family orientated racing title, but this just reassures the publisher’s commitment to a wide portfolio. There’s a reason that they’ve become a significant publishing force in recent years, after all.
OXM: "The outdoors tracks are vibrantly colored and interestingly designed, and send you speeding along at an impressive clip. But while it looks like a second cousin to the Ice Age films, Freefall Racers is utterly devoid of personality, and it's also rather slight, with just eight tracks split between a handful of drab cups and no real long-lasting pull in sight. Frivolous as it may seem, however, it's still a rare bit of Kinect-enabled fun, especially for little ones."
After releasing some big time games over the last few months such as Saints Row IV and Metro: Last Light, publisher Deep Silver switches gears and puts out a family friendly racing title in Freefall Racers.
