Every Pokémon generation has given us something new, not just with the Pokémon themselves or with gameplay, but also in terms of visual quality and the effects that can have on the game. so the people who bought the new 2ds are out of luck ??

There's no 3D effect in the overworld. So 2DS owners wont miss out on too much with this title :)

2DS was made for the parents of the kids who want a DS but are too immature and destructive to own a real one. Basically Ages 4-7...3D isn't good for their eyes (or anyone's) anyway, hence the disclaimer on the box warning people not to let children under 7 use the 3D.

Plus I've seen maybe 2 games where the 3D look amazing before turning it off (like most people do anyway)

Can't wait for this game!

There's a difference between traditional 3D gampelay and stereoscopic 3D. You can play this game just fine without stereoscopic 3D, and in fact, most of the game doesn't utilize it.

While it was hard to narrow down, these 30 Nintendo 3DS games are emblematic of the system’s success."

When Will The Pokemon Company Introduce a New Typing?

The Pokemon Company has a solid thing going right now. Well, it’s been going on for a while, actually, but it has been a while since a new typing has been introduced to the popular monster-taming series. The latest one, Fairy type, was introduced back in Generation VI (Pokemon X & Y), so it does seem like it is time to bring in a new one. Check out Jason Capp's article for more.
