RidegeRacer Driftopia is a free to play arcade style racing game, it has just as much drifting as it has death and destruction.
Namco have released the following stement regarding Ridge Racer Driftopia.
VVV: "Its life was ultimately shortlived, however: after an extended closed beta on PC and PS3 since September 2013, Namco has applied the brakes on the project, announcing that the servers will be shut down by August 15th. "
We are in need of a proper Ridge Racer... I must admit, I really enjoyed Unbounded.
I could accept this ridge racer if it was less destructive! all that tearing through
buildings and blowing stuff up, not my cup of tea.
Bring the original game back namco, i dying to play another ridge racer!

Honestly I think that score is too generous. I downloaded this and was pretty disappointed. the car handling is a bit sluggish, and it dont feel like ridge racer.
Handling is perfect in my opinion, you can easily control your car by drifting. I never played the past ridge racer games, but this one really spoke to me since they almost used the same system of taking your opponents car like in Need For Speed Most Wanted (2005 game). I dropped the rating by 1 because of no "live" feature and I dropped another 1.5 because of the use of repair kits.
