JPS: Xbox One Controller – Hands On

JPS Writes: I had a chance to play on the Xbox One controller for the first time. How does the new controller feel like?

My biggest problem with the 360 controller was the awful d-pad. Glad to see the Xbox One controller's looks better.

Try using it to play games like Street Fighter. Games where the d-pad was important.

From Personal experience the X1 controller is WAY BETTER than the 360.

Exactly. Only thing Hicken is good for. Oh yea, whining about the bubble count of other users.

There is nothing wrong with the Dualshock other than it being a little small for my hands. Xbox controller is better...to me.

360 controller hands down the best if x1 top it sweet!!. I can't wait to hold x1 and ps4 controller, day 1 for both console great to be a true gamer.

Racing games are made to be played with a wheel not a controller. Just saying.

Do they have any off those add-ons planned already?

I am pretty sure that any wheel that works with the PS3 will work for PS4. Not sure about the Xbox One though. I can't imagine them not having them as an option if they are claiming Forza to be the king of racing games.

I will say that once you play a racing game with a good wheel you will never go back to using a controller again.

The best controller there is. Plus the X1 changes to my settings when my brother hands me the controller. That's what you call next gen.

I tried both controllers at the Gamescon and they both have pros and cos.

For me the sticks are too small on the X1 controller and for me the size of the sticks on the 360 controller is better. The bumpers feel very strange and I`m not a fan of the soft triggers as I didn`t seem to have a proper feeling for how much I pressed them because of how soft they feel. Other than that the controller feels file and the D-Pad is finally not as crappy as the one from the 360.

I got my hands on during the Tour and the controller is Awesome, My feeling was a customized glove...
