EuroGamer: "Creator Davey Wreden opens up about his mental meta madhouse."
Having trouble understanding HBO's Westworld? Why not have a look at these five games that may help you with the existential crisis the hosts go through?
I was pretty clueless about everything until halfway through the season finale. Still didn't understand everything, like...Deloras dying was part of Ford's narrative? The man in black stabbed her, how did Ford know that would happen to include it in the narrative?
I don't think either of that was part of Ford's narrative. The mock-up he set on the beach wasn't his actual narrative. Rewatching the first two episodes I realized that he has been planning the very end from the first episode. Thing is, he needed to go in great style, so he came up with that. The character himself is very dramatic, loves a scene, so it makes more sense that way.
Polaris and Maker Studios, the multi-channel network organization, had planned a reality TV-style game jam a while back. It all fell to pieces for a number of reasons, but part of it was in deliberate sabotaging by a few of its participants, including Zoe Quinn from Depression Quest fame, Tom Jackson from Surgeon Simulator and Davey Wreden from The Stanley Parable, assuming statements made in a chat log are to be believed.
Wow, Are you Seriously, Zoe Quinn ? I just can't believe this. And I wish we have social enhancement form Deus Ex Series that could persuade people like her.
Edit : People said that Anita and Zoe are ignorant and a cancer to gaming industry. But After I played Deus Ex Mankind Divided, there are more to it. Like i said, we wish to have social enhancement from Deus Ex. If we want to beat them, not just finding clue, but also we need a social conservation with them.
Just when you think she's forgotten and we can move on, here she is again. But I think this is more of a serious thing, because of how much this cost Maker to put on. I don't know how much legal ground that Polaris could have if they ever chose to sue those responsible (since the logs have been confirmed to be true by one of them that was once within that group, and there weren't obtained dubiously, so they could be admissible evidence - hope I have the right word there), but it is a pretty crappy thing to do just because you disliked the corporate backings they had to do.
And it never seemed as though Quinn was a very nice person to be around. Might be further proof that she was (and still is) quite the d-bag.
This has apparently been confirmed As real
https://twitter.com/stillgr...
She is literal cancer
Both her and Anita don't care about the industry at all. They just see it as a tool to get what they want and it saddens me to see so many big gaming sites defend them then again those are typically my worst rated gaming sites so it doesn't surprise me
She's back in the news because of a new game...which has fallen though. Wanted to make something based on a novel series or webcomic, but the owner changed their mind.
Also, did anyone bother to check to see if the link worked before approving this?
@MyDietEqualsGames:
And the U.N. The report for which centered around her visit pulled for both being badly written and only referring to itself for facts.
@Godmars290 The site has been running a bit slow the past few days for some weird reason. Not sure why! Trust me, it should work if you give it a few minutes. I hope it's just the normal issues a site might have from time to time if their hosting company screws up!
I can...BECAUSE THAT'S WHAT SHE'S BEEN DOING SINCE DAY 1
GamerGate knew this and they were torn apart by the corrupt gaming sites they were exposing while others followed like sheep so they didn't look bad.
She's spiteful, she's manipulative, she doesn't give a shit about the gaming industry and all she's done is tried to exploit it like she has to get more money out of it.
Just like Anita they are both con artists yet despite this they are defended by big sites who are supposed to be on our side. They make them look "victimized" by "big bad sexist gamers" ruining our image and what they are supposed to represent.
Big site which are making themselves irrelevant by both showing they know nothing about games then getting upset with what's suppose to be their audience when exposed.
Who is honestly surprised? Zoe Quinn is scum, pure and simple. That she was granted the privilege (irony at its best) to speak to the U.N. about how hard it is to be a woman just shows how much the gangrenous infection of feminism has poisoned the world.
I hope Polaris/Maker studios can sue them for this, it'd be nice to see Quinn and her cronies get what they deserve for once.
There are a TON of these logs that were leaked, and Bro Team Pill did a three hour and then a five hour stream, and they STILL did not get through the entire collection of logs that were uncovered. What I gathered was that Crash Override was basically a cover to protect Quinn and her friends from anything and everything that even dared to challenge or call her out. There are a TON of things that are inside of those logs that they would have to atone for, and this is all while there was a complaint out there that CON completely ignored an actual inquiry to them when they were being harassed on Twitter. The people involved within these logs were a who's who of the anti-Gamergate side (the exception of Ian Miles Chong, who switched sides some time after because he got backstabbed by what I assume was this very group), and they were more than ready to instigate things.
This is probably one of the more insidious things they have ever done, but far from the only thing.
Are you surprised? The entire gamergate movement was completely derailed by manipulating the narrative to be about gamers hating on women, just to cover up the malfeasance of the individuals were were complicit in unethical practices, and Quinn was one thing they supported. Both before GG started, and after.
These people can not face actual criticism, nor can they take responsibility to be accountable for their actions, and I know they know what they do is wrong, despite their moral superiority complex which makes them always look right. If they didn't know they were wrong, they wouldn't be trying so hard to avoid any kind of reproach, but since they do, it only shows they have absolutely no remorse, and are selfish and do not represent anyone but themselves. For a individual, fine, but such attitudes are not acceptable for the press as a whole, which is meant to serve the readers by being ethical. Although these things aren't insular to just the gaming press nowadays, it just sucks that some in the gaming press partake in such actions instead of actually trying to promote games in the right way which is beneficial to all.
I'm hoping this makes GG rise back up. While I'm sure we'd see a lot of "misogyny!!!" crap again, it doesn't take much to actually say...."nope....um....thi s is what we were pissed off about all along", and try to make them actually address that.....if GG can manage to keep it's idiot extremist from going all off the handle and saying stupid sexist things which give SJW an out.
@Fox below
Now I feel kind of sad how out of the loop of GG I've been for a while. Lots of comments in there which I had no clue were happening. Maybe I need to start paying more attention to it again. I know it's died down a lot, but know there is still stuff revolving around the whole topics at hand.
This chat log could lead to a huge resurgence of the movement, I just hope it manages to not get wrapped up in the petty side debate about misogynist gamers.
We'll probably see Polygon and Kotaku, along with some others spin this someway
Seen this on Reddit
https://www.reddit.com/r/Ko...
"Did you read the last part where they talk about sueing Total Biscuit. Someone asks if he lives in the UK so that "he would have to prove he hasn't damaged you (Quin)". The Quin says that she wouldn't sue someone with cancer and her friends praise her for her mercifulness.
If this is real, this is f***** up"
She is being made out to look like a total saint because she didn't sue someone with cancer, despite the fact suing him anyway would have been wrong as he didn't really do anything. Her white knights are really trying to make her look good out of this.
Jeez...
I don't really believe most of what I've read from that kotakuinaction subreddit since they're gamergaters...
are people on this site seriously defending gamergate?
@hirobrotagonist
lol
Gamergate was partially created on this site. Gamergate doesn't need to be defended. A lot of their claims have been proven true time and time again. Oh but you don't care about that do you? You just read on Polygon that gamergate hates women and completely believed it I bet.
By cronies do you mean whoever was in her pants? She was literally the catalyst to Gamergate
Not the only one. But one of the biggest ones. The term GG was coined more for the cabal of gaming press higher ups who were manipulating the news by threatening to black list anyone who didn't tow the narratives they wanted to present. Quinn was kind of a side thing that led to that eventual discovery while the community was up in arms over potential unethical behavior by the press itself. That particular event with her sleeping with some journalist, led to the entire gaming press being scrutinized in a big way, and the only way they could get out of it was to once again change the narrative, which they did by calling anyone who supported GG, misogynist.
But, with these chat logs, it'll be a lot harder to defend now. People call her a disgusting person all around....mostly for her actions. Her being a woman is just a coincidence, and I wouldn't doubt if these logs pick up steam for people being pissed off again, that the SJW crowd quickly abandon her to the wolves for her to fight it out on her own, because some of the things I've seen her say in just a cursory overview of the logs is not someone that people would want to be known to defend. Easy enough to stand by those who have some ambiguous criticism(or at least criticism which can be said to be ambiguous) thrown at them. A lot harder when that person is actually just vile.
@noteven below
Not so. Although you may be right.
The press will throw her under the bus, then back up the bus if necessary, then get the dumptruck to pour a big batch of salt on her if the story is big enough. They will completely ignore their place in promoting her, acting as if it never happened, because they know that most people will forget they ever said anything.
The usual suspects who have played this anti-GG BS won't be able to do all that, and may be able to justify her actions, but more likely they will just ignore it because it has nothing to do with them....even though it kind of does.
But no matter what happens, the press, in general, and more specifically those who were complicit in the actions and helped participate in them, will never take accountability upon themselves.
It's up to the community to hold them accountable, which is what GG was trying to do. I'd like to think that this could make them accountable, but there was evidence of similar sabotage tactics for different things by some pretty high up people in the gaming press, and that didn't manage to catch on in the mainstream or general press before most sites decided to avoid these topics altogether. All the sites which decided to avoid the topic, allowed the bad seeds to ruin their reputation, and gave those people exactly what they wanted, which was unfettered access to form the narrative which made them less culpable.
They are not gonna do anything. Zoe has been on the UN advocating for online censorship and has been on the front of every liberal media article about online harassment just like Anita once was. Going after her now means bad press and getting thrown in the pit with the latest boogyman, the alt-right. And not to mention her company about online harassment prevention is endorsed by pretty big corporations like Intel, so she has a lot of pull in the industry and even some connections within the political world through a politician called Katherine Clark, the same one who got her into the UN.
https://www.youtube.com/wat...
There's a ton of stuff in those leaks including the exposition of targeted harassment and doxing by members of Crash Override Network. Only a few weeks ago one of their members, Robert Marmolejo, got outed as a sexual harasser and nobody in the media has reported on that. There's even a convicted pedophile that used to work with FremFreq and again, nobody reports on any of that stuff either.
https://www.youtube.com/wat...
In due time my friend.Everything will come back and bite her in the arse Karma at its best:)
I was hoping you would have done
"Fe Fi Fo Fum...I smell the blood of a sued woman
Whaaaa...Zoe did something like this? NOOOO...GET OUT OF HERE. Damn I honestly can't believe this entire electrified pickle we have here /s
"including Zoe Quinn from Depression Quest fame"
Yeah...I don't think that's what she's known for ha.
"Yeah...I don't think that's what she's known for ha."
LOL. Love how they make it out like this is her biggest accomplishment. Not being one of the biggest reasons GG started in the first place, and being the primary example for others on how to play the victim.
Depression quest was a terrible game, and it wasn't even famous for the actual game. Just her part in it. Doubt you could really find anyone who could say anything about the game beyond the actual marketing info who isn't a raving SJW twat, or reviewer forced to play the game.
Sadly, I have played the game, because I feel if I am going to criticize something so heavily, then I should at least do so from a point of experience. As it turns out, one doesn't really need to play it to realize it's a crap game with no redeeming features whatsoever, and shows a marked lack of any sort of understanding of the very basics of game design. I've seen 12-16 year old kids in some of the STEM programs I participate in who make better games in much less time. In fact, most of them do, and the one's that aren't as good, simply didn't have time to finish.....but I guess I digress....but this coming to light actually pisses me off, and it's been a while since I've taken a good shot at Quinn and her lack of morals or ability to be a half decent human being.
edit @ Below
Have no problem with her getting help making it. Most games aren't made by a single person. Biggest problem with it is that it is a terrible game with no redeeming values. Even the themes she tries to represent are done so poorly, they are completely meaningless. It's neither preachy nor meaningful. It doesn't inform, or console. It's just some narcissistic personal piece which has no actual resolution or method to the overall presentation. It's like just seeing some person ramble on about their own experiences with no actual cohesion to bring it all together.
On a technical level, it can barely be called a game. It's less than a walking simulator or digital novel, and didn't even use anywhere close to all the capabilities of the very basic "game engine" that was used to make it.
Yeah I don't even think she did it herself, she had help
At the end of the day I never even saw it as a game, just a bunch of things you click on like a question survey.....such a hard thing to do
People seem to think that all this hasn't become the norm in the past decade. Zoe Quinn is just unfortunate because she's not intelligent enough to cover it up properly like the rest of the industry does.
Wow, now I'm really glad I never spent money on any of those games. Or "games", in the case of Depression Quest. Zoe Quinn is truly a disgusting person.
I don't see the big deal. So these dev's just went on a reality show and trolled it. Who cares. It sounded stupid and by the ridiculous contract stipulation of not being able to mock mountain dew it sounds contrived and soulless anyways (much like all reality tv).
I'm pretty sure if you were one of the other groups on that show, you would not say "no biggie" to her "trolling" the show to sabotage it and make it never come to light. That was a huge oppurtunity for them, and Quinn didn't troll, she actively sabotaged it, did so deliberately and with sole intent, and then used it to springboard her own career.
Those other groups....name a single one of them or the games they made.
Then of course, there's the half million dollars spent to produce the show. The complete destruction of the producers career because of her actions. The chance that it will make it much harder for shows like this to happen again....unless you think Disney or others are going to be keen on something like this going forward?
It may have been stupid, but it was a positive thing for getting more people interested in game design. Whatever the contract stipulations were, there was benefit to it as a whole.
Her sabotaging the show, was for her own gain...not the betterment of the community.
For all the whining Quinn and the SJW lackies make about wanting to have more equality and diversity in gaming, Quinn could have used the oppurtunity to actually become a positive role model to show girls that such things were actually possible if one had the motivation....and in quinns case, even if they didn't have the talent.
But nope, that wasn't possible. Instead, she sabotaged it, and since then, despite the efforts of STEM or similar groups working hard to get what's needed by planting the seeds early that such fields would be appealing to women, you have this active and very vocal group who go out of their way to say how hostile the industry is to women, and how gamers don't like women, and how if they get into game design, they won't be able to achieve much without working exponentially harder than their male counterparts. Quinn is one of the foremost proponents of just how much of a sh*thole the industry is towards women, and is one person who actively tries to discourage others from ever participating, and in this case, tries to sabotage the opportunities of others because it is not her thing, and worse, she finds it amusing because she's a raging sociopath.
Nothing they do promotes women getting into the game industry, nor promotes them becoming gamers in general. Everything they do is to promote themselves. Even their agenda is secondary, if not completely meaningless to them building their own reputation.
So that's the big deal.
It's not about the quality of the show, it's about her part in making sure it never happened. That isn't on her to decide it's right to exist, anymore than it is on you to decide if the show was worthy of production. Your way of thinking could be extended to everything creative, because without doubt, every creative thing out there will have detractors.
Lets face the facts here. Games nowadays are being attacked by people that follow or outright worship Quinn or those like her. Would it be a big deal if they actively sabotaged any game production just because they feel it isn't worth having around or so they could promote themselves? They are doing this now. They have achieved some success. See the big deal now?
In short: They're not interested in the gaming-industry. They're interested in the victim-industry. That's what gets them attention. That's what gets them money and a career.
Sorry mate don't have time to read your tome but you know it wasn't just Zoe Quinn that was involved in this sabotage and yet she seems to be the sole receiver of your vitriol. Get a grip mate.
Admin note - "changed to rumor. Pasted chat logs is not definitive proof"
Site Article - "The logs were captured between December 22nd, 2014 and January 5th, 2015 and one of the members who were part of the group have verified the veracity of the logs"
Twitter #1 - https://twitter.com/stillgr...
Arjen - "Hey Ian, that leaked chat @BroTeamPill is posting shots of - since you seem to have been part of it, can you confirm it's real?"
Ian Miles Cheong - "I can confirm that, yes"
Twitter #2 - https://twitter.com/stillgr...
Lodge Logistician - "Hey @stillgray are you able to confirm the stuff @BroTeamPill has been posting?"
Ian Miles Cheong - "It's real."
If the guy was part of a group confirms it then it's most likely true. What becomes truth here then? Until Zoe admits it herself...yeah like that's going to happen. I knew this would happen on here...typical.
Second-hand confirmation is not really credible confirmation, which is why it's called second-hand confirmation. Nor is he confirming that implication, only that the chat logs exist. He didn't say it was 100% accurate or anything of the like, either.
Journalism seems lost on so many people today, but the article makes declarative statements without actual proof other than anecdotal correlation.
Before you act like the judge, jury, and executioner on all things revealed on the Internet by Internet detectives with their own agenda, perhaps you should take a step back that being a rumor doesn't mean false. It means merely that the information acquired is not enough to set a definitive claim as brought forth in the article. Same as an image is not definitive proof of a new console until it officially announced or a person half way around the world who supposedly said something isn't definitive proof until it actually comes to light.
As to this article, it looks pretty damning and she appears to be as immature as always and had little respect for the production elements of the show (or the need to recognize the sponsorship needs and requirements for such a function). It only adds to my dislike of her. But, it is not definitive proof, no matter how much people may like for it to be as seen as such.
***What becomes truth here then? Until Zoe admits it herself...yeah like that's going to happen. I knew this would happen on here...typical.***
I'm not sure. But, this isn't proof, only evidence.
I can understand the reason, though you know Zoe is NEVER going to come out and say that anything ever happened. Because look who we're talking about here. This is a woman who seemed to have made an entire network, created a false reason behind it, all to attack who she felt were calling her out. But I think it's as much evidence as Polaris (who, remember, IS owned by Maker Studios, who was since bought by Disney, who is pretty freaking powerful) might need to at least consider it.
There's some further evidence that this is legit, and it is the fact that one of those people who were in those logs was the infamous Randi Harper (creator of the GGAutoBlocker). She would be best served if she would just shut the hell up about those logs. But she cannot keep her story straight. First they weren't real, then they were before CON was created, which is also not true (and which makes her first story complete BS). And she is known to throw other people under the bus just to get out of anything. The others involved (other than IMC, who's probably smiling right now) are probably asking Randi to just shut up for a while! She's just confirming them more and more because she's pulling a Donald Trump about them.
And I had a weird situation where I tried to log in to the site on my phone only to get a "blocked from site" message, which I was hoping was just a bug since the timing of it was suspect. Of course, everything is fine now.
I'm convinced they are real (there's just too many of them, and those incriminated - other than IMC - from them are too all over the place to think otherwise). They have confirmed Gamergate to be right about these people, with them being exactly who they said they were. And the lengths that Zoe has been willing to go to protect her image is beyond anything most people can comprehend...over something that she would've never heard about again had she just said the truth and not become this slimy, pitiful human being that takes advantage of social sensitivities to get a corporate advantage over her competition and detractors.
I have to side with Christopher on this. While the chat logs themselves are pretty damning, it needs to be verified in a way that is irrefutable in order to be used as a means to continue on the GG debate, and her place within it. Otherwise, we get the same roundabout misogynist claims/actions that we had before, and the whole topic can be dismissed as gamers simply hating on her because she's a women.
At first I thought they were being a bit reactionary, and trying to temper the meaning of it all, but what Christopher says makes sense overall.
Going forward, there are likely going to be plenty of people who will independently verify, or do their best to correlate what she said to actual events which have been recorded, in order to make the sure the veracity of it holds up. When that happens, it means the debate becomes open discussion from the point of actual facts, and not just knee jerk reactions.
There's plenty of time to be upset, and likely this won't go away, and even liklier this will flair up GG once again....along with the SJW stuff to go with it. In the mean time, we can assume it's true, and take the time to analyze it more deeply to form better arguments for when it's appropriate.
Stuff like this won't go unnoticed, or even swept under the rug if people do their due diligence and avoid the knee jerk reactions, and ultimately, maintain civility to the point where they aren't antagonizing a group of people who have nothing to do with the topic at hand. Some will try of course, but their position has become compromised in the debate should this information be verified.
Given the current confirmations, it's highly likely the logs are real. Seems like a lot of work to try and discredit someone, and I doubt the one guy would just say they were real without really looking at them. Might take some time, because the press in general isn't going to pursue it, but I'm sure other people who have been more active in GG will, and hopefully, we'll get updates around here on the status of it.
In the mean time, I do hope the companies and people on the receiving end of her sabotage use this information, assuming it's true, and completely destroy her in the press, the courts, and her reputation so she can never be something the gaming community has to worry about again. No reason to threaten her....just hold her accountable for her own actions, which is what GG is supposed to be trying to do for all those who are practicing unethical behavior.
If Polaris/Maker/Disney think this is enough to go forth with a lawsuit (hope to CHRIST they do), then it will come out. What's done in the dark will be brought to the light.
GG? You mean that thing that 99.9% of the population interested in games has moved on from. Seriously dude give it a rest.
I'm confused by all this, could someone just put it out simply for me, I'm dumb dumb.
I assume you know who Zoe Quinn is, and how she ended up being the catalyst for what eventually led to the uncovering of the GameJourosPros list that sparked GamerGate.
Quinn seemly created something called the "Crash Override Network" (with the - now fitting - acronym of CON). This was supposed to be a way to curb Twitter harassment. In truth, it was never meant for that. Think of a mobster movie when a fancy restaurant is used as a front while people talk about the "family business" in the back rooms. Someone (no one knows who did) released Skype chat logs that dated from December 2014 to Jan. 2015. These logs incriminate both Quinn and a number of other people (Randi Harper, Kathrine Cross, Chris Kwune, David Gallant, etc.) in talking about other people quite vitriolically. Their targets included MundaneMatt, TotalBiscuit, Liana Kertzner (who gave a wonderful counter that this was more "mean girling" then feminism, especially with how Cross talked about her on there), JennofHardwire, BroTeam, etc. They were on the warpath to start fights with people they deemed to be their enemies. The problem is that many of those people they deemed to be so either tried to be fair to them and reach out to them (TB even said that he did try to get Quinn's side of things about the Grayson thing, and she went into attack mode about it). Either that or they were people that didn't even go hardball about anything, or even said one mean word about any of them. Not to mention that they had an unhealthy obsession with going after GG, talking about it on Christmas/New Years Eve/Day. They were THAT dedicated to starting something.
One particular log dictates about how Quinn maliciously tried to sabotage Polaris' failed TV-style indie game reality show, Game Jam, in 2014. Her reasons are pretty dumb (I can see her being upset about having to do some corporate shilling, but to try to screw around with the entire thing just because of that?). This might be the biggest problem out of anything, because of how much it cost Maker to put that Game Jam on ($400K), and could be worthy of a lawsuit, though not sure if Polaris is knowledgeable about this, or if they would be willing to file one.
This all goes into the notion that Quinn is one slimy, horrible person. She's been known to have troll baited the Wizardchan forums, doxxed a few people, the obvious nepotism that she continues to deny ever happened to begin with, and now we can add using social sensitivities of various minorities to cover up her deeds, using CON (which, by the way, never DID help in curbing actual Twitter harassment, as has now been documented) as a front. The evidence is pretty solid, all but confirmed, and is damning.
In other words, these people are pretty screwed right now, and they need to stop trying to cover their tracks and just atone...for once in their lives!
After reading through the majority of these comment I have learned that all people seem to care about is Quinn's involvement and there is not gonna be much hate on Tom Jackson from Surgeon Simulator and Davey Wreden from The Stanley Parable because A. They're men... I guess. and B. people liked their games.
But hey. Cherry picking is fun right?
I wouldn't worry about that. Their time will come. The reason people aren't calling them out now is because most people don't even know who they are, and they never in any way received the kind of attention at the start of GG(or rather before) that Quinn did, who actively went onto social media to boost her own reputation, and was herself the catalyst which went on to reveal the actual reason the term GG got coined, and became an official movement instead of a bunch of pissed off forum goers.
The gender of the people involved is completely irrelevant to the issue at hand, just like misogyny is irrelevant to GG as a whole. You are attempting to derail the entire issue by trying to make it into something it isn't....which is exactly why when you search GG on Google or look on Wikipedia, you see it's a hate movement against women, instead of it's intended purpose of ethical behavior in the gaming press.
Truth be told, even this article didn't implicate them to the degree they may be culpable for. It wasn't because they're men, or that people liked their games, it's because it's about quinn, who is the biggest instigator of what went down based on the chat logs. Eventually, people will scrutinize it more, and those two will have their reputation put into the spotlight....regardless of if people liked their games or not.
But hey, misdirecting the topic at hand is fun right?
You see having read through the entire article and also having worked in television production for over 10 years I didn't see anything out of the ordinary. The talent was being pissy about having to be a slave to product placement. If the production didn't have a showrunner that could handle this kind of thing then the whole production probably would and eventually did fall apart. Who needs misdirection. Even JohnTron came out about what a shit show it was and didn't even mention Zoe Quinn more than a year ago.
http://tmi.kotaku.com/the-i...
https://www.youtube.com/wat...
But everyone hates Quinn so it's news now isn't it. And no the creators of those two other games who were complicit in the mocking of the production wont feel the fallout. The show collapsed because of an incompetent show runner and general mismanagement. Not because Quin is a master saboteur. The one take away I'm getting form this is that when men to it its fine but when women do it it's because they are lying backstabbing con artists that are intend on destroying everything out of spite. Right? But I don't need you to agree with me. I have almost every other comment in this thread confirming what I already know.
You make it sound like the only reason this is a story is because some internet numpties have spent the last two years digging and digging, trying to find almost anything to make her look bad, failed, and so tried to spin something inconsequential into the crime of the decade...
But, it's not about her, it's about ethics in video game journalism...
It is about her, and how she contributed to the degradation of ethics in not only gaming journalism, but indie game development and the whole SJW crusade against general fun and video games in particular.
I would like to pretend i know who this broad is.... but i wont. Apparently she is involved in GG?? Idk what that is either. Back to my rock, this is lame
I'll just want to live the rest of my life without ever hearing the names of Zoe Quinn and Anita Sarkeesian
Can I just point out Jontron is in that picture, that's should be the real story here, what was Jontron doing there
"so i got to meet one of my heros while being forced to fingerpaint with jon tron’s idiot ass in the background asking the british member of my team to say words that sounded funny with his accent”
Lol, Jon... I can just imagine that, and how thats probably very accurate.
Also, looking forward for whats to follow after this. Probably nothing if I had to guess, but it would certainly be sweet justice if this ever ended up going anywhere.
This sad waste of space has contributed nothing positive to the gaming community.
I don't know who this girl is. And honestly, I feel that's probably a good thing. I want it to stay that way.
Wiehahn Diederichs, Gearburn writes: "It seems that the creators of the eccentric indie title The Stanley Parable have been quite busy lately. Only a few weeks ago Davey Wreden (The Stanley Parable guy) released his latest title, The Beginner’s Guide, an unconventional narrative driven game that explores Wreden’s relationship with an old developer friend through a series of mini-games.
Now, only a few days ago, William Pugh (the other The Stanley Parable guy) announces his new studio, Crows Crows Crows, and with it a very interesting teaser for his apparently soon-to-be-released game (no name yet unfortunately).
In this oddball endeavour Pugh is joined by Dominik Johann, Jack De Quidt and Sean O’Dowd, and “other talented and award winning people”, as stated by their current site. The site also tells us that this mysterious game is “coming out very soon. So soon. Soon.”"
