Makes sense, as this protracted 8-year cycle has left us all a bit stir-crazy; it’s hard not to get at least a touch excited about what the next 5 or 6 years will bring our way. But unless you are some sort of video game time-wizard — be a good gent and bring me Skies of Arcadia 2 if you are — you won’t be experiencing that content this holiday season. So why drop half a grand or more on a fancy PS4 or Xbox One just to say you had them on day 1 of 2000? Well, you probably shouldn’t, that’s why."
