Standing on the Vinewood Sign in GTA: SA vs GTA 5

Gameranx: "We've shown you multiple comparisons of the map size in Grand Theft Auto 5 compared to its predecessors, but one of the best comparisons we have to date is of what it's like to stand on the Vinewood sign in Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas versus Grand Theft Auto 5."

Yardie3878d ago

From what I've seen, grove street is still there, but the house looks different.

Panthers3877d ago

I believe his old gang is still there as well.

Fanboy reporting. He's looking at the scale and draw distance, but the author is obviously a PS4 fanboy. I am excited as the rest of you, but this is not remarkable considering you are comparing a PS2 title and a current gen console in it's 8th year. How easily impressed. For me, I would be disappointed if it didn't look this good considering what other companies have done.

GadgetGooch3877d ago

He's obviously talking about the scale/size not quality/graphics you idiot....

RedDeadLB3877d ago

Did nobody love you as a child?

listenkids3877d ago

What does ps4 have to do with a comparison between this gen and last?

Syntax-Error3877d ago

Since you're all so naive and one-dimensional. Did you not read the last line in his article?

"consider where we'll be at in 5 years with the PlayStation 4."

He said PS4 NOT Next Gen meaning he was singling out one console instead of all of them. Preferably his console of choice which means it's biased.

listenkids - Why dont you read the article before commenting you moron. PS4 was mentioned in it.

Oh wow... My eyes!

R* did a good job making this game for this current-gen. If anyone said that it was next-gen version then I would have believed him if R* didn't announce the platforms.

uncharted563878d ago

You know whats funny COD on next gen consoles does not look that impressive while GTA 5 on this gen consoles looks to be almost next gen. But if some screenshots I have seen are to believed there is a lack of AA but it could be that I am wrong since I don't have the game on my tv screen. But still looks like one of the best looking games of this gen considering the open world scale. Anyways 4 more days.

HollowZbankai3878d ago

On that note....less then 4 days left!!!!!

GarrusVakarian3878d ago

Oh

My

God

Pintheshadows3878d ago

Oh wow. That is seriously impressive. Look how far we have come.

More interested in money than giving fans what they want. Such a shame

CrimsonWing693d ago

With the amount of money they generated, I just don’t understand the scrubbing of this. It would’ve been fantastic for fans.

Profchaos3d ago

I really want to know who drove the decision to focus on multiplayer was it Rockstar or take two.

Because when online started taking off many of the studio leads began having falling outs and leading including a founder

Demetrius3d ago

Ikr mfs that greedy it's ridiculous

andy853d ago

This makes me sad. Trevor was one of my favourite characters in gaming

Demetrius3d ago

One of the reason I believe once gta 6 release, most of us thoroughly play it, enjoy the world they crafted then after that no offline support, no dlc at all
