Brothers: A Tale of Two Sons – Preview & Interview – 360 Gamer

Fascinating and infinitely charming, Brothers: A Tale of Two Sons is a single-player co-operative game from Starbreeze Studios and 505 Games. 360 Gamer commissioned a preview and interview with the game’s creator and award-winning Swedish film director Josef Fares. As someone who has a wife that doesn't play videogames and a kid that isn't old enough to play videogames, I selfishly hope they try a game without required co-op so it's easier for me to play lol. I really enjoyed Brothers solo, and I did eventually play and enjoy A Way Out in couch co-op with a friend, but still haven't been able to check out It Takes Two or Split Fiction.

I think co-op is their thing, though, but I get you. Played It Takes Two and A Way Out with my brother and both were awesome, we both platinumed them.

When your kid is old enough you will have the best coop games ready to play :)

Josef Fares is the man. He has such a passion for games. Just like he said eff the Oscars at the Game Awards, now he's saying eff live service.

Good for him. I'm sure his games' publisher EA (aka his boss) will fix that attitude before long.

Another round of layoffs: 505 Games closes in Spain, France and Germany

The news that Digital Bros. (and its publishing subsidiary 505 Games ) is in the process of restructuring is not new. It was last November when, in the midst of the maelstrom of layoffs in 2023, they announced that they were laying off 30% of the workforce , especially employees belonging to the development studios. This restructuring, like the international maelstrom, seems to be still underway and now affects the offices of the Italian multinational located throughout Europe.
