Today Valve announced their Family Share System for Steam, which allows users to share their entire Steam library with their friends or family. Currently in beta for a select few, Steam will soon release the feature to everyone, allowing them the chance to experience the joy of sharing games with close friends.

The ability for players to share their digital libraries with friends and family has always seemed like a tricky endeavor, but Valve has made the feature surprisingly fair. Each user will be able to grant access to 10 other accounts. The user’s library can be accessed in its entirety, excluding certain games that may include another form of DRM on top of Steam (Origin, Uplay, GFWL).
