Yes! Way better! I live the crowded streets. When I played the VITA Version it really felt empty and did lack details.
It was ok to play and a great start for open world games on Vita.

The game look goods, depending on price and release date I may buy it on PSN or PC.

NicSage3897d ago

This just says from Ubisoft " Our exclusive games aren't exclusive "

Also why would anyone purchase another vita title from Ubisoft when it would be ported to the ps3/4?

Will ubisoft make another AC Vita game? Doubtful.

Will ubisoft give the extra levels to Vita owners? Doubtful.

So long and thanks for all the fish!

bjmartynhak3897d ago (Edited 3897d ago )

Because someone may prefer to play certain games on a handheld on the go?

Summons753897d ago

It's business. Why keep things in a ship that had sunk when you can make more money off of having it on a platform people will buy?

I love the vita but a year n a half with only a handful of (good) games are poor sales, I wouldn't be surprised if you see more games getting a console port. Especially with vita tv allowing you to play games on a tv, the upscale isn't going to be pretty for most games, better off just porting over and improving the game.

Baka-akaB3897d ago

It's two freaking years later . When it happens for other games , sometimes in less than a year , we dont hear that complaint , why suddenly now ?

Vip3r3897d ago

Ubi milks Assassins Creed like Activision milks Call of Duty.

It's the norm these days.

Liberation was far from impressive on the Vita to begin with.
@nikrel Due to the sudden bump that the Vita will receive with PS4 remote play, the redesign and Vita TV, Ubisoft will continue to support the handheld. Word is a Rainbow Six is in the works =]

RiPPn3897d ago

This was quite short compared to regular AC games. I wonder what they are planning on charging for the HD version. If it's cheap enough maybe I'll pick it up and play through it again, especially if they add more content.

awesome! It was very impressive on the Vita. Looks even better now! :-)

Why Assassin's Creed Liberation's Plot Twist Is Ingenious

KeenGamer: "Has a game ever pulled a complete 180 on you? Sometimes you find these twists in the most unlikely of places. One of these unlikely places is Assassin's Creed Liberation. During our playthrough of it, we were hit in the face with one of the best plot twists we've ever experienced."

Would it kill Sony to port that Uncharted to PS4?

porkChop2016d ago

It was a pretty solid game, so a remaster would be nice.

VenomUK2015d ago (Edited 2015d ago )

I'd love to see PS4 remasters of Uncharted the Golden Abyss and Persona 4 Golden, even if they're just given resolution boosts. It would bring these titles to a much wider audience and the emulated P4G in 4K looks phenomenal.

Also, the top ten list is mainly Vita exclusives which demonstrates that it wasn't ports the public wanted but exclusives.

King_Noctis2015d ago

@Venom

There weren’t alot of big third party port on the Vita you know.

Switch4One2016d ago

Would it kill them to make games for the console? I mean clearly people bought a Vita for Sony type games on the go.

Skankinruby2016d ago

I was so bummed when I found out I wasn't in the Nathan Drake Collection

Toiletsteak2016d ago

Same. I loved the game on the Vita.

Concertoine2016d ago

Maybe take the plot and give the game a bigger scale on ps5

Cajun Chicken2014d ago

I would love Golden Abyss ported. It still stands completely in canon too. Really fleshed out Eddy Raja for Uncharted.

gamer78042016d ago

all AAA games, shocker, Sony dropped the ball with my poor vita, still liked alot of niche japanese titles on the handheld though.

Skankinruby2016d ago

As it should have, very good for a handheld game. Poor vita, the 'oh what could have been' machine

2016d ago
ShadowWolf7122016d ago

Oh look, it's that AAA support people insisted the system never had.

jojo3192015d ago

The list actually proves the point. 9 of the 10 games on this list were released in 2011-12, and Killzone was 2013. After that, crickets.

ShadowWolf7122015d ago

And the vast majority of the sales of those titles came years after the fact, over time.

The fact of the matter is, the Vita HAD AAA support. People back then just whined about these games not being on the PS3 as well, and declared they'd not buy a handheld for "one or two games".

Then ironically bought one for niche titles years after that support dried up.

TekoIie2015d ago

"And the vast majority of the sales of those titles came years after the fact, over time."

Source please.

"The fact of the matter is, the Vita HAD AAA support."

And was then abandoned for 5 years. Good support.

TheFirstClassic2015d ago

Cod helped kill the system honestly, what a terrible attempt at a game.

King_Noctis2015d ago

That AAA support was two years only. After that (until today in fact) Sony rely on indies.

michaelknight352015d ago (Edited 2015d ago )

And that was the problem sony gave up on the vita way too soon

Pure Opinion: Chris vs. Max: Assassin's Creed Games Ranked

Pure PlayStation: During a lengthy discussion that probably took up too much time on the last Pure PlayStation Podcast, myself and Max spoke about the various Assassin's Creed games. To my shock, we both agreed that Assassin's Creed 3 gets more hate than it deserves and that Conner is a decent character. It turns out we're both big Assassin's Creed fans and we've both played pretty much every mainline entry in the series.

So, what's this article about? It's a list where we both rank the mainline Assassin's Creed games in order of least-favourite to favourite. It's just a bit of fun, really, to see how our tastes differ. It's also quite timely considering Assassin's Creed Odyssey is releasing this week. There's also a little poll down at the bottom of the article so you can vote for which list is more in line with your own thoughts on the Assassin's Creed series.
