It's the framerate. 18-20fps in alot of places.

Needs alot of optimizing. They overshot GPU budget on PC.

12.8gp of Xboxone is not that much.

He said arcadey, not unlikely. Besides, there's nothing wrong with wishing a game based around a scenario unlikely to happen in real life would stick closer to realism in every other sense. You can disagree and think it should be set in a less realistic world but just because a game/movie/book contains one unrealistic aspect that doesn't mean everything else should automatically be off the wall and ridiculous. If The last of us ended with Joel grabbing a jetpack and flying to the planet Dogballs to fight the supreme overlord of zombies would you think, 'huh, that kinda broke the immersion the whole game seemed to be building' or would you think 'oh well there's zombies in it so this is perfectly fine'?

I read that the time limit is gone except in a "hardcore" difficulty. The time limit turned me off on the previous titles.

Thought the controls were wonky and aiming with the left stick was awful.

It looks cool though, but it's still Dead Rising. For better or worse.

yeh but with capcom its let's throw zombies at the screen and call it a day, this series has so much more potential

grinding/tedious boss fights
very stupid time limit stories
combat like you said felt stiff in a way

hopefully DR3 will improve on all that

This game looks so good and they haven't even shown missions yet. Looks like a lot of replay value especially seeing how they'll be tougher zombies too.

I'm getting this on day one, and I know the guy addressed the frame rate in the video, but I hope he's being honest about getting it up to 30 because the frame rate is just bad. Not to mention the screen tearing.

Can't wait for this game, but it really needs cleaned up in the performance department.

The tearing and FR I will be watching to make sure they do indeed fix it. That is unacceptable in a final game on a "next gen" system.

The fps is like 15-20 most of the time. They will probably cut down the zombie count on screen by 50% at the release version.

For me I can see how this game would get old quick. They should have showed off a mission or something.

I think the guy played it the best he could. That is how the game is between missions. To me, Dead Rising is like a lot of Capcom games, dated controls(tank controls-Resident Evil), archaic design(saving in bathrooms-Dead Rising), and sadist difficulty(Dark Souls) inaccessible to anyone but the devoted hardcore.

I think Capcom, Konami, and From Software are deliberately old school. They don't make concessions for the casual. You will be challenged. You may not complete the game.

The people who do, are rewarded by just beating the game. That's enough for them.
