Activision Explains Why Call of Duty: Ghosts Didn’t Skip the Wii U
Activision publishing CEO, Eric Hirshberg, has given gamers a little insight into the decision to continue to bring Call of Duty to the Wii U in spite of its struggling sales.
The news which came from a set of comments Hirshberg issued to Joystiq indicate, ironically enough, it was actually the Wii U’s poor sales numbers that helped convince Activision to release the game on the system.
According to Hirshberg, Activision wants to see the Wii U succeed, and that by bringing Call of Duty: Ghosts to the console, they might be able to help boost its sales.
