EGM: "Rocksmith community developer Mike Madavi posted a video on Ubisoft’s official YouTube channel in which he answers a plethora of Rocksmith 2014-related questions.
In the video (embedded below), Madavi answers questions about backwards compatibility, using pedals, DLC, and a whole bunch of other questions, including whether Rocksmith 2014 will support bass."
DLCs can end up being more expensive than the games themselves but these 10 titles are taking things way too far.
Why do people expect things that developers work really hard for, for free or close to nothing?
It depends, if its recycled and or cut content or crafted as a stand alone. One is more work than the other. And the cost should reflect that.
No one argued they should be free. But charging nearly $100 for some costume sets is robbery. Good thing the support died after a year.
I thought Sims was going to be more expensive. I am surprised about the cost of the "simulator DLCs" and not surprised about Star Citizen.
Ubisoft puts an end to Rocksmith 2014 Remastered Edition DLC with the Opeth Song Pack, and are already working on a new title.
I’m excited to see what they make next. Rock smith is such a nice tool to learn a song easily on guitar.

I still play Rocksmith every now and again when I get the itch. But yeah, another aging guitarist here that's nowhere near as good as I should be after years of "playing" guitar.
You should try what I'm doing to see if it helps you out! Would be good to get other guitarist's opinions on if it helped them or not.
Just picked up Rocksmith in a current Microsoft sale for $9.89. I will soon be giving it a try once I get a guitar.
Optical digital out put stops all lag and then you also need to adjust audio settings if you have a ps4, I'm not sure about xbox though.
Yeah I had input lag on playstation, I had to move to PC in the end. But yeah connecting via optical output is the best option for PS4. I had to connect to sound output directly to my sound system, and not through the TV.

Just saw the session mode video, damn! If this all works the way they say, this game could be super cool. Think I may pre-order this (and I rarely pre-order).
Hey Ubisoft, how about some Tool? I know the guitar isn't that difficult but still would be fun!
