Digital Chumps: "Mario & Luigi: Dream Team follows a strong format set forth by previous games in the series. Though Bowser's Inside Story is still the best, Dream Team holds its own and suits the new hardware of the 3DS very well. Like the others in the series, this game has strong personality and addictive, responsive gameplay. The only major quip is that the tutorials are painfully slow and make the first 10 hours feel much longer than they should be. Still, if you're looking for a lengthy RPG, pick this game up and enjoy the awkward beauty of Luigi's mind."

Super Mario RPG will always be my no. 1 Mario RPG. The N64 Paper Mario is a very close second.

Yeah, I think that the Mario RPGs, especially the earlier ones, have been pretty consistently good games.
