Forbes – Pikmin 3 Review: Playtime

Forbes – Games give us few power trips as elaborate as real time strategy. Here, we are not limited to being some paltry hero swinging an axe or casting a few spells — we are great leaders, moving heaven, earth, and whole armies against our enemies. Or little sand walls and fruit, as the case may be. It’s a childish sort of grandiosity, and I’ve never seen it captured in a more succesfully childish fashion than in Pikmin 3. I am Alph, destroyer of fruit — bow before my horde of adorable minions.
