What Does Diablo 3 Really Look Like on Consoles?

IGN - Luke and Daniel guide you through a fifteen minute demo of Diablo 3 on consoles. How does it compare to the PC version?

mewhy324064d ago

ummmmm. This game looks pretty interesting but I'd rather play DCUniverseOnline.

blackmanone4064d ago

As someone who's played both, DC Universe gave me many more hours of enjoyment.

These types of games are 2x more fun to play with a controller, rather than click click click click click click.

Torchlight on xbox 360 was a awesome. Torchlight 2 on PC, while the better game, isn't as fun to play because of how repetitive the clicking is.

And That's why I have a gamepad (XBox 360 Controller) set up on my PC for those games like that. Though, I still played Torchlight 1 & 2 w/ mouse and keyboard, nothing wrong with clicking alot, that was how Diablo 2 was like and nobody got tired of that.

I have this pre ordered for the PS3 but I REALLY want the PS4 version.

TheGrimReaper00114064d ago

.... then pre order the ps4 version?

JohnApocalypse4064d ago

The PS4 version aint coming out till next year

TheEvilWithin4064d ago

Gamestop doesn't have a Pre order SKU for it yet. Blizzard has not given a solid date for the PS4 version other then 2014.

TheGrimReaper00114064d ago

Odd, you'd think that with the x86 architecture, PS4 and XBO would be easier to port?

NewsForge4064d ago

Like shit just like every console game. PC BEAST!!!!

MestreRothN4G4064d ago

Funny thing is that the console version of Diablo 3 is supposed to be the good version.

umad?

Letros4064d ago

Get trolled much? umad?

josephayal4064d ago

I think its much better on consoles, i hope that blizzard may also release a offline campaign in pc, Sadly, PC gaming is dying

Ragthorn4064d ago

Diablo reigns on PC man, it is a PC franchise ported down to consoles, but Diablo 3 is not that good tbh. After all that wait, and I was so excited... Still okay though, Torchlight 2 imo was better.

Cyberpunk and No Man's Sky have to be up there. We're lucky and cursed, equally, to have games that can be updated now. For folks old enough to remember the Sega/SNES into PS1 and even 2 eras, if a game came out that was half baked (*cough*Angel of Darkness*cough*) that was it, no redemption. At the same time, having the option for updates shouldn't be an excuse for half assing games.

thorstein235d ago

I remember when the Nintendo Seal of Approval meant something.

All those games had to release without bugs.

shinoff2183235d ago

Comebacks shouldnt be a thing in videogames. Just saying.

Diablo III - Still a Huge Draw in the Face of Diablo IV

Diablo III still works on modern PlayStation and Xbox consoles, and remains hugely playable a decade after initial release.

Palitera544d ago

Are you comparing a continuously improved 10+ years old masterpiece with the... beta of an unreleased game?

kevco33543d ago

Heh, yeah. There's no comparison in here! Its a commentary on how III is still very playable over a decade later.
