I forget that Mario Kart was in the arcades.

JeffGrubb3999d ago

That game is whack though, and I'm not just saying that because I always lose to children.

Sadie21003999d ago

It's a bit weird when you're used to joypad controllers, but it's cool.

randomass1713999d ago

Gave the arcade a shot one time. The controls are really weird when compared to traditional Mario Kart games. Very fun though.

rivencleft3999d ago

I was playing Mario Kart with my son at Chuck E. Cheese the other day, reminiscent of my time spent on the SNES playing it, remember getting slapped across the face by my mother way back when for shouting out my first profanity at the tv, probably playing rainbow road.

choujij3999d ago

I thought the Arcade GP was awesome.

But the SNES version up till now has always been my favorite, although I broke many a controller cause that game is a cheating mother b#$%&.

ColManischewitz3999d ago

Ha! The playplace I take my kid has Mario Kart in the arcade.

darkronin2293999d ago

IMO, nothing will ever top Super Mario Kart. It came out at the right time: I was still a kid, as were all of my cousins, and every time we had a family get-together we'd just play it all night long.

Much harder to do that now when everyone lives in different states and have full-time jobs and/or families to take care of.

Tolkoto3999d ago

Double Dash was my favorite.

wonderfulmonkeyman3999d ago

I'm torn between that and mario kart wii. The bikes were a refreshing addition.

Clogmaster3999d ago

Double Dash because you could play co-op with beginners. They'd have a blast throwing projectiles and punching while I can focus on the driving.

Rosalina my friend. She is so caring only appearing in spirit form just to help you when you've FAILED more than 20 times in the Mario Galaxies ha haaa .

Rosalina is there to encourage you, to help you. And lets you know that she is there to give you tips, but not to do things for you . you go on and finish this level like a big boy, all by your self. Rosalina wont make fun of you for dying and dying over and over trying to pass those levels .

see you soon sweet Rosalina .
