You're either lying or just don't know what pre rendered means. Pre rendered means that if you change the character's appearance (clothes, accessories etc) they wouldn't show up in the cutscenes because they were already made and aren't being rendered in real time. This is something that doesn't happen in Rockstar games.

In fact some of the scenes in RDR2 looked better in the retail version than at launched.

Also the same for red dead redemption 2 and GTA trilogy (albeit they split that into individual games)

These are pretty cutscenes. the are NOT gameplay on 360/PS3 so this is irrelevant.
Well that looks better. I didn't realize gta4 had such awful graphics. Let's hope GTAV comes to PC.
