What's the A-word of JRPGs?
Is it action — the manner in which various combat elements are implemented in an RPG, be it strategy, real-time, turn-based, or a hybrid of the three? What about anonymity — the sheer enjoyment of being able to play through a world as whatever persona you wish? How about aesthetics? We’ve certainly got plenty of those running around.
