Building Character: Zero

oprainfall writes: “Today, I want to discuss a video game character very near and dear to my heart. If you’ve read some of my articles, you may be jumping the gun and saying, ‘He’s writing a Mega Man article!’ And you would be partially right. I DO love Mega Man and have pretty much played every series or offshoot, be it classic Mega Man, Mega Man Battle Network or the X series. Hell, I even played and enjoyed Mega Man Soccer for the SNES. (Yes, we’ve established that I’m THAT old.) So my writing a Mega Man article would be a natural assumption, but it would also be an incorrect one, because this Building Character piece is all about X’s red-armored, saber-wielding, ponytail-flashing counterpart, Zero.”

Never liked him, Then again never liked X series too much more of a classic MM kind of guy

See and I'm the opposite I didn't care for the original series but feel in love with the X series and Zero in particular. He was way more fun and challenging to play with than X or the original Megaman.

I like both series but the x series is my fav.. Zero is bad ass.. I remember buying every single MMX game on snes jus so i can see what happens nx. When he became playable in part X3, i was overjoyed.. Then X4 came & tho he was still cool, it pissed me off that they took away his blaster.. Oh well, Zero is da shiznit & better than X to me

@DivineAssault
In X5 or X6 he got it back but it wasn't as cool. When you fight his nightmare version he has some crazy Z-Buster rapid charged shot attack and it was crazy cool.

I guess it kind of came from me never owning a SNES too, well untill emulators came to light love it if all the first 7 MM games were remade like 8 or Rockman and Base which is my undeniable fav character in the entire series. Next up is Vile the Protoman.

I never liked the alt main characters like Vegeta, Knuckles which I grew soon to love to end up to despise Shadow The Hedgehog, Zero, Sasuke...ya know I don't think I like anti heroes especially when they are sole purpose is made to be that supposed to be cool guy It usually comes off as try-too-hard, bad boy characters. Zero is prolly my least hated out of the lot. :p

The Best SNES Games to Emulate Today

Unfortunately, not all the best games are accessible today for a whole host of reasons:
- The title is too rare or expensive to find today
- The translated version of the game never made it to U.S. or the version that came along sucked
- A good or fun game was overlooked in its time and deserves some spotlight

Prices are starting to returned to how much they actually cost 20-30 years ago-not adjusting to inflation.

Hehe. Some games, not all.
