Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn players are eagerly awaiting for the release of the new benchmark that is scheduled to happen on August the 1st, especially because it’ll include a character creation utility that will allow new players to actually create and customize their characters and save their appearance. Unfortunately nothing like that will appear on PS3.
YoshiP, the director and producer of Final Fantasy 14, has apologised for the state of the game at the time of writing.
Do you not see this happening during development? Like, why are we apologizing after the fact instead of stopping it during development?
I was unhappy with DT and have spent far less time in it than any other expansion but it's things like this that makes me respect Yoshi P. It's rare for such a high profile developer to be so candid in his assessment on a live game.
Square Enix released new screenshots of the upcoming patch 7.25 for its popular MMORPG Final Fantasy XIV, including the Occult Crescent.

A solution for ps3 players dl pc beta load your character from the benchmark, then load up the ps3 beta and transfer your character from the pc to ps3. As long as you can run min setting it should work and you can have your character created ahead of time like everyone else.
I can't imagine many console games have console benchmarks...kinda pointless since you can't swap parts.
Lol, this isn't even a big deal at all. The title had me confused but the word "benchmark" has a lot of weight. So we have to wait a bit, so what? lol
