"One of the first games that caused me to constantly look over my shoulder while I was playing it was The Seventh Guest. I played this back in university; and it scared me (and my room mates, if I happened to be playing with the speakers on). I remember, with embarrassment, being startled, and jumping out of my seat – the sense of dread generated within me by the game was palpable. The Last Door, a web-based point-and-click horror-adventure game by The Game Kitchen, is a recent release that caused that fear to bubble up to the surface once again.
