Ars Technica: "I've spent about two days with the Leap Motion Controller, a Kinect-like PC accessory that uses infrared sensors to translate the motions of your hands into input for applications. The device I received is one I pre-ordered more than a year ago; I've been anxiously awaiting its arrival ever since I saw the first video of the device in action."
In October 2014 Leap Motion kicked off its 3D game jam, which produced a lot of interesting titles. The aim was that all developers utilised Leap Motion’s hand-tracking controller to create a unique virtual reality (VR) experience. A total 20 semi-finalists were selected back in December 2014, with winners to be selected on 10th January 2015. In the running is music experience Soundscape VR which developer Sander Sake has recently redesigned the look of.

Today sees the worldwide release of Leap Motion Technology’s highly publicised controller device. The “Leap Motion Controller”, was teased almost a year ago as being the most innovative new way to interface with your PC and Mac. “The future is in reach.”

It's like Kinect but a million times better and with no spying.
Although Kinect on PC is a nice tool I expect Kinect 2.0 to really be awesome unless you gotta buy a XB1 to get one then BLAH! Oh wait Razor has a Kinect I think.
